Carson Valley Health's Telemedicine program uses secure video conferencing technology to enable long-distance medical care between patients in the Carson Valley and medical providers and specialists throughout northern Nevada.
Telemedicine allows convenient access to medical expertise not available in all communities. Patients stay close to work, home and family while minimizing the cost and hassle of long-distance travel for medical care.
Telemedicine can be used for clinic-based services such as visits with primary care providers, or for initial visits with a specialist. It can also be used for hospital-based services such as emergency care.
Ask your physician if Telemedicine is an option for you, or call 775.782.1658 to find out if there is a Telemedicine specialist within our network of physicians, to meet your needs.
