Rehabilitation and Outpatient Therapy Center Grand Opening

With a successful grand opening of the newly expanded Rehabilitation and Outpatient Therapy Center behind us, we want to say ‘thank you’ to the over 200 community leaders, patients, staff, and residents who came out for the ribbon cutting last week.
The new space is in use and the improvements greatly impact our ability to provide patients with a better healing environment.
Benefits include:
- Specialized treatment rooms
- Expanded services of our pediatric physical therapy, sports medicine, and orthopedic rehabilitation
- New services available such as a new vestibular/neurological rehab program
- Reduced waiting times
- Easier, more convenient access to therapy services
- Ability to hire more staff
- Orthopedic Rehabilitation and Physical, Speech, and Occupational Therapy under one roof
To kick off the opening, we had the pleasure of hearing from CVH board member Dr. Purvance, Jeff Prater, CVH CEO, and Rehabilitation Center Manager Rene Hoogendijk, people without whom we couldn’t have turned our vision into reality.
The unveiling of the new 8,500 square foot facility was the first phase of our three year hospital expansion project. Having this therapy center allows us to better support the comprehensive care close to home that we pride ourselves on providing at Carson Valley Health.
