Carson Valley Health Vitality for Life Offers Mental Wellness Support for Adults 65+

Gardnerville, Nev. - Carson Valley Health (CVH) offers Vitality for Life, a mental health wellness program for adults age 65 and over providing group, individual, and family therapy as well as medication management in a confidential and healing environment.

Vitality for Life provides intensive outpatient treatment for seniors having difficulty coping with life's challenges, including depression, anxiety, unresolved grief, worry, isolation or loneliness, sleep or appetite changes, anger, difficulty with health and physical changes, difficulty concentrating, feelings of helplessness, hopelessness, and low self-esteem.

Along with the patient and family members, the treatment team of nurses, a psychiatrist, social workers and therapists work together to coordinate a treatment plan that can offer hope to program participants.
