Carson Valley Health Hospital Foundation announces new Executive Director and its Board of Trustees for 2023

Carson Valley Health (CVH) appointed Courtney Moore as Director of Development. This role manages fund development activities to support CVH and includes directing the CVH Hospital Foundation.

Courtney first began working for CVH in 2016 and has filled many roles during her tenure. She left CVH briefly to complete a bachelor’s degree in business management from Western Governors University (WGU) and is now pursuing an MBA from WGU.

“CVH has been my home for the past seven years and to be so warmly welcomed back in this new role means so much,” said Moore. “I truly enjoy philanthropy work, especially working with non-profit organizations in the Carson Valley. I have organized and directed many of the CVH Hospital Foundation events over the years and have worked closely with the previous directors in this role.”

A Douglas High School graduate, Moore moved to Carson Valley in 1998 and is an active member in the community. Courtney serves as a board member of Tahoe Youth & Family Services, is Co-Founder of Project Prom of Northern Nevada, and a 2021 graduate of Leadership Douglas County through the Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce.

“I am looking forward to working in partnership with the CVH Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees to meet the needs of CVH and the community we serve through fundraising.”
