CVH Vitality for Life offers senior wellness programs

Carson Valley Health (CVH) offers Vitality for Life, a senior mental health wellness program providing group, individual, and family therapy as well as medication management in a confidential and healing environment.

Vitality for Life provides intensive outpatient treatment for seniors having difficulty coping with life's challenges, including depression, anxiety, unresolved grief, worry, isolation or loneliness, sleep or appetite changes, anger, difficulty with health and physical changes, difficulty concentrating, feelings of helplessness, hopelessness, and low self-esteem.

Along with the patient and family members, the treatment team of nurses, a psychiatrist, social workers and therapists work together to coordinate a treatment plan that can offer hope to program participants.

"I thought I could do it alone, but I was so angry...I couldn't get through it alone,” a former Vitality for Life patient (name withheld for privacy) said. “The help I got at Vitality has given me a new life."
