Carson Valley Health Selects Mike Ellis as Chief Financial Officer

Carson Valley Health – YOUR COMMUNITY HOSPITAL recently appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Mike Ellis to the leadership team.  Ellis’ appointment fills a position that has been vacant since June of last year.  
In this position, Ellis will be responsible for managing CVH’s Financial Services, Revenue Cycle, Admitting, Single Billing Office, Accounting, and Purchasing departments. He will also be integral in the planning process as CVH evaluates expansions to meet the growing healthcare needs of the Carson Valley. 

Ellis brings 30 years of experience in healthcare finance -- 10 in Southern Calif., 18 in Denver, Colo., and most recently from Wickenberg Community Hospital, a critical access hospital in Wickenberg, Ariz.  Ellis attained his MBA from the University of Denver in Denver, Colo.

Mike and his wife Beth enjoy skiing and hiking, and look forward to exploring the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
