Everyone Wins Big At A Grand Derby Affair

GARDNERVILLE, Nev. (March 23, 2016) – The Carson Valley Health Hospital Foundation invites the public to A Grand Derby Affair: A day at the races, raising the stakes for quality healthcare for the Carson Valley. 

The annual gala and fundraiser takes place on Saturday, May 7, 2016 in the Grand Dining Room of the Douglas County Community Center.  Doors open at 1:30 pm. Derby-goers will enjoy cocktail hour, bourbon tasting and interactive horse races, followed by a live viewing of the 142nd Kentucky Derby, dinner, and a chance to win exclusive auction items.

“This is going to be a fun and unique event,” states Foundation Board Chair Linda Birdwell. “Through fundraisers like these, we have been able to raise money for medical technology that truly saves lives: digital mammography, telemedicine, and updated monitoring systems for our ICU. Our mission for our community is to support these needs and enhance the overall health of the Carson Valley.”
