CVH Appoints Preston Becker, MBA, Chief Executive Officer

GARDNERVILLE, Nev. (June 17, 2016) – Preston Becker, MBA has been appointed Chief Executive Officer at Carson Valley Health effective June 13, 2016.

In this role, Mr. Becker will oversee the operations of the hospital and clinics, and will work closely with the CVH executive team, medical staff and Board of Directors to set the vision for the future of the organization.

Mr. Becker comes to CVH from Moscow, Idaho, where he was the CFO at Gritman Medical Center since October 2013. Gritman Medical Center is a critical access hospital in a service area of approximately 50,000 people. Prior to that, he served as CFO at Kewanee Hospital in Illinois, Vibra Specialty Hospital in Portland, Oregon and Steele Memorial Medical Center in Salmon, Idaho.

Mr. Becker has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Finance from the University of Idaho and a Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration.

Community-minded, Mr. Becker has been a member of Rotary International, President of a local arts council and a member of a local search and rescue unit. He comes to the Carson Valley along with his wife and three young children.  Carson Valley Health is pleased to welcome the Beckers to the community.
