CVH Foundation Now Taking Nominations

Through March 15, 2016, the Carson Valley Health Hospital Foundation is accepting nominations for the CVH Healthcare Excellence Award. The award, established to honor and recognize those who have made an extraordinary contribution to Carson Valley Health (CVH), local healthcare initiatives, or to the improvement of the health and well-being of the Carson Valley.

“We recognize that behind the ongoing quest to obtain the latest in equipment and technology for CVH, are some passionate and dedicated citizens and professionals,” states the Foundation’s Vice Chairman Dan Dykes. “Quite often those individuals do not receive much recognition for their extraordinary efforts and talent. We want to hear about those people.”

Nominations are accepted between January 1 - March 15 of each calendar year. Nominees should meet at least one of the following:

• Made a lasting impact on the community's health and wellbeing.
• Made significant contributions to the healthcare initiatives in the Carson Valley.
• Assumed a leadership position relating to the healthcare outside of the candidate's own organization or company.
• Served as a role model or mentor to others in the healthcare industry.
