Dr. Paula Crenshaw Joins Carson Valley Health Team, Expands Services to Carson Valley GARDNERVILLE, Nev. (September 18, 2014)
Two-time recipient of the esteemed “Tahoe’s Best Doctor” award, Paula Crenshaw, MD FACP has joined Carson Valley Health’s physician team. Dr. Crenshaw provides primary care services to adults and adolescents at CVH’s Ironwood Drive location.
The arrival of Dr. Crenshaw marks another step forward to expand healthcare services in the Carson Valley. Originally from Boulder, Colorado, Dr. Crenshaw earned her doctorate degree at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the same institution, and was invited to the National Board of Internal Medicine in 1997.
Crenshaw was involved in clinical research for ten years which included international studies on Botox for the treatment of migraines. Some of the unique areas of Internal Medicine that fall under Dr. Crenshaw’s expertise include migraine management, chronic neck spasticity, cholesterol management and excessive sweating.
CEO Susan Davila says the addition of Dr. Crenshaw is one of several recent steps to further CVH’s mission. “Carson Valley Health is striving to make quality healthcare in the Carson Valley more accessible. By having expertise such as Dr. Crenshaw’s on our team we are filling yet another gap in services for our community.”
