2014 Family Health and Wellness Fair Quickly Approaching

Join Carson Valley Health at the annual Family Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, August 23, 2014.  The event will be open to the public between the hours of 9:00 am – 1:00 pm at our main hospital campus 1107 Hwy 395 North, Gardnerville, NV 89410. 

Attendees can expect over thirty health and wellness booths, providing information, resources, and interactive stations to audiences of all ages.  Free services will include blood pressure and heart rate checks, nutritional assessments, body composition analysis, orthopedic and shoe-fit analysis, and chair massage.  There will also be booths with representation from local resource providers including the VA Sierra Nevada Healthcare System, East Fork Fire and Paramedic District, Care Flight, Family Support Council, and various senior care organizations.  An array of games, drawings, and prizes will be offered, including a grand prize Breville Juice Fountain multi-speed juicer.
