Do You Need Help To Quit Smoking?

It's the time of year for resolutions again. If quitting smoking is on your list, Carson Valley Health can help you. Freedom from Tobacco is a seven-week smoking cessation program offered one evening a week at the hospital.

The program promotes positive behavior change that shows you how to become a nonsmoker while having fun with a group as you quit together. The cost of the program is $50, which includes one-on-one support and education from one of Carson Valley Health's specially-trained Respiratory Therapists, a workbook, relaxation CDs, and carbon monoxide tests. Some insurance companies will reimburse the cost of a smoking cessation program, and all graduates of the program will be provided an official letter of completion.
