Requirements:
Must have a current NV RN license, BLS. ACLS and recent (within 1 year) acute care experience.
Position Summary:
Provides professional nursing care to patients utilizing established policies and procedures ensuring safe and effective care, provides age appropirate care from infant through the geriatric patient based on the population served; assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary care team; demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to indentify and meet the individual needs of all patients served.

Director of Nursing - Full Time

Requirements:
Five years clinical experience preferred. B.S. with concentration in nursing preferred. Must have a current Nevada RN license. Demonstrated clinical competence in relevant area of nursing practice. Demonstrated leadership ability and potential managerial competency. Must have effective communication skills, ability to deal well with people, ability to problem solve, ability to confront/resolve issues, ability to motivate others, ability to plan, organize and direct the activity of others. Must have strong management skills and must have a BLS certificate.
Position Summary:
The Director manages and coordinates all clinical (patient care) services. Plans, organizes, leads and directs the medical care provided to patients of CVMC by maintenance of departmental policies, procedures, goals and objectives. Assures that all departments or services under his/her authority and repsonsibility are managed by caregivers that are clinically competent, licensed as appropriate, and who expect the provision of quality care.
